5 Weight Loss Tips For You!
It’s a new year and it’s a new you! Make this the year that you don’t break your new years resolution. You will have a much better year and you will feel more accomplished if you stick to your resolution goal. Here are 5 great tips to help you lose those extra pounds:
Keep a food diary
Keeping a food diary can help you lose double the pounds because you are logging in everything you are eating. If you can read everything you have written that you ate in the entire day, you can see where you can cut things out that are unhealthy for you. Also be sure to pay attention what you are consuming as well, what you are eating on a daily basis is one of the biggest factors in losing weight. Compile a list of healthy recipes that you can rotate throughout the weeks.
Remove the temptations
Take a look in your kitchen and remove all the bad foods that you have. This would include cakes, cookies, chips, sodas, and anything else that is unhealthy. By doing this you will no longer have your cheat foods lingering around in your home for you to snack on.
Pictures never lie. By taking a photo of yourself every week in your bikini or swimsuit for a year, will allow you to see your progress than standing in front of the mirror every day. The photos will keep you motivated when you start to see the pounds begin to shed off and it is also fun to brag about your before and after shots!
Friends don't let friends workout alone
Working out with a friend has many benefits compared to working out alone. By having a workout partner you will feel more motivated to hit the gym because you will have your partner pushing you to go with them. You will also enjoy your workout a lot more with a friend than by yourself since you will have someone to talk to and you can both encourage each other.
This reward is not to go wild and eat a bunch of junk food for a day. Give yourself a reward on a job well done by giving yourself a new outfit, change your hairstyle, or go buy something that you have been eyeing for awhile. It is important to reward yourself throughout your weight loss journey, you deserve it!
