Giving Back through Sponsorships and Charities

SmartStop Self Storage is committed to positively impacting the communities we serve by supporting various charities on the national and local level. Doing so aligns our actions with our core principles of leading together, embracing change, and enhancing everyone's journey. Our charitable giving program supports organizations that focus on education, health, and social welfare. Many of the causes we support are employee-directed, and we encourage our employees to volunteer and donate to these causes, fostering a culture of giving back.

We are able to make an impact through financial support, awareness building and hands-on participation in charitable programs, such as:

Breast Cancer Research Foundation

Since 2018, we have donated $5 for every new unit rental in October. Over the past seven years, we have raised more than $190,000 to fund life-saving research. Learn more at bcrf.org.

SmartStop is proud to support the Wounded Warrior Project through our sponsorship of the Carry Forward 5K. Grass Roots
